4 CCTV security cameras for a popular restaurant in Cheltenham. The cameras were to cover the cash register, food serving area, food prep and storage area to ensure strict hygiene.

The remit was to provide high resolution, wide angled security cameras which could cover the cash register and the food serving area as well as cover the dining area which would also be a point of entry for anyone breaking into the restaurant.

A restaurant such as this one, has a lot of hot, steaming food meaning the cameras had to be weather / waterproof and because the area to be covered was a smallish and tight area, we had to ensure a wide camera lens.

As with all our installations, we ran LSOH CAT 6 cable, keeping it tidy by running it through trunking and hiding it through ceiling voids.

The cable ran back to the NVR which we set up to record constantly throughout the day and then through motion detection at night.

Once the CCTV NVR had been configured and the cameras angled to cover the areas required, we then configured the system to allow for remote access via mobile phones and computers.

The initial 2 cameras proved successful and reliable and we were invited back to install a further 2 cameras to cover the food preparation area and the food storage area.
