As part of our Cheltenham and Gloucestershire CCTV and security cameras service, we offer a door and gate entry system for Cheltenham and Gloucestershire which can act as a stand alone option or integrate with the CCTV system. This means a single system, operated via a single app, which allows you to operate an automated security gate or entrance for an office or building.
Door and gate entry security system with camera for Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and The Cotswolds
AUTOMATED GATES
Let us start with a common usage which is an automated gate (which we can arrange to have installed throughout Cheltenham and Gloucestershire). An automated gate is a security gate for your home and provides secure access for your car. An automated gate opens via a remote control device and closes automatically once your car has driven through.
Our gate access control is a system that allows visitors to arrive at your gate, press a call button, and have that call go through through to a monitor inside the property as well as a mobile device or tablet. You can have multiple monitors throughout your property and any number of users can have the app on their mobile device.
The gate entry camera module allows the home owner to see who is at the gate, communicate with them either through the monitor or mobile device and open the gate by tapping a button on the monitor or phone app.
Our gate entry system can be modular, meaning it can be minimalist and consist of a single camera module, or it can have a camera module coupled with a keypad. Alternatively, you could add a third module, such as a fob reader.
CAMERA WITH KEYPAD
Your automated gate entry system could consist of just the camera but an added keypad is the normal setup. This allows you to enter an access code and gain entry shouldyour remote control unit be out of battery, or you just forgot it.
The image above shows the gate entry camera module coupled with a keypad option. We've labelled the call button "reception" in this instance but you can label it as you please. This version is "gun metal". There is a stainless steel version.
The image above shows the monitor type which sits in your home or office. When a visitor presses a call button on the entry module at the gate or door, the monitor will ring and show the person standing at the camera. At this point, you can see the person but there is no audio in either direction until you answer the call.
When you answer the call, you can talk to the person and, should you wish to grant them access, tap an unlock icon on the screen and your automated gate will open or the main office door will be released.
Monitors can be wall or desk mounted. The monitors come in 2 wire versions or IP (CAT6 cale). WiFi is also an option.
Multiple monitors can be used with a single enter system. A home user can have a monitor by theur front door, in the kitchen, living room, bed room and so on. Offices can have monitors in versious offices or on multiple desks.
KEYPAD
The optional keypad is for those who have permissions to enter the property. They are assigned an access code which they enter into the keypad and the gate or door is opened.
The keypad for the automated gate entry is a good option to have in case you forget your remote fob or the remote's battery has died.
PROXIMITY TAG READER MODULE
As with the keypad, users with permissions to enter are provded a card or fob which is presented to the reader module and the gate or door is opened.
Large Business In Cheltenham
This large Cheltenham based company's office building has 2 main entry points: One for visitors and one for staff, however, staff can use either door and so we added a 3 module entry system to both doors. Staff were allocated key codes and key fobs which were programmed to work with either entry system. This allowed them to enter via either door.
Three monitors were added internally. Two monitors were placed on staff desks and another monitor mounted to the wall of the main office. If the staff at the desks of the two desktop monitos were not available, any staff member could take the call at the wall mounted monitor.
All entry systems: the entry doors and the deliveries system were linked to the monitors. Any entry system used to call the offices would ring on all three monitors.
Electric Gate Entry System in Andoversford
As well as providing CCTV, WiFi networks for homes and businesses in Cheltenham and Gloucestershire and a security system to this private property, we installed an automated gate system using FAAC automated gate system and we added a camera and keypad as the entry system. We added two monitors: One for the garden office and one for the main property.
We added the doorbells to their front door and their back door and added two monitors in the property. Should either doorbell be used, both monitors would ring.
A few months after the doorbells were installed, the property owner had automated gates installed and needed an entry system. They wanted two entry systems: one on eiher side of the gate pillar.
The property owner wanted three modules: camera module, keypad and proximity reader.
Below's image shows the Doorbell camera as used at the property.
