We were called out to a farm in Hatherly in Cheltenham which had CCTV covering some of the buildings but only a few. The site comprised of multiple buildings which couldn't be hard wired and so we used multiple Point to Point devices to wirelessly bridge the buildings together.

We used 10 Point to Point devices in total and 7 CCTV cameras.

The farm in question had very poor Internet due to its location and this made receiving alerts and remotely viewing the CCTV cameras difficult. We therefore suggested Starlink satellite internet which we could send around the various farm buildings, the main farm house, another farm house and a couple of Air B&B rentals.

Not only were we getting a much faster Internet signal to all buildings via the Point to Point option, but we installed 7 CCTV cameras with built-in Microphone, Loudspeaker and LED lights.

The 7 CCTV cameras had wide viewing angles and covered all the areas the client required.

Alerts were set up via Line Crossing events. Line Crossing events are when an imaginary line is drawn across a part of the CCTV camera's field of view. If a person or vehicle crosses that line, it triggers an alert which is then sent to the user's phone. The user can then view an immediate replay of what triggered the event.

The CCTV cameras we installed were also capable of sounding an alarm siren alert via the built in loudspeaker as well as set the LED lights to flash. That meanrs the end user gets an alert on their phone or tablet and the cameras themselves give off an audible and visual warning.

It is worth noting that it is possible to set the warning to be audible and visual,  audio only or visual only. You could turn them off altogether and only receive a notification. The choice is yours.
